Hey /biz/nits
I've been lurking around this forum for a few days now and I definitely see potential for growth. I am willing to take it to the next step if there's enough interest in it. I could buy a real domain and hosting immediately, and potentially set up some tools to help us collaborate a bit more. I want this to happen soon because I think we'll just fizzle out if we don't make these kinds of commitments, I've seen it happen many times.
This would transfer the ownership to me if this happened, if I'm going to put money into this I want to make sure it's run properly. I do have experience running forums though so no worries there. I'd definitely keep some of the current staff on board though, and will be open in the running of things.
So yeah, how does this sound?

+1 I'm only a plebby content creator though.
Also, we need content creation standards.

Wouldn't call it hostile, I'll only do this if there's enough people on board.

How is what you're offering to do extremely different from what has already been done? (Many times over). Besides an actual domain, which I'm waiting until we get some real traffic, before spending any of the donation $ on. There are no other great sites to come up with a forum as good as this is so far (in terms of functionality). It would take months, and people on /biz/ and 4chan in general do not have the time to commit to things like that. We have to start somewhere small (a freely hosted forum) and then slowly expand after there is an actual following. There is currently like 20 people that actually log on, ever 1-2 days, but there is nothing new to discuss, because no one posts. If I or another active poster were to post everyday, it would hurt the forum since people would not get a chance to reply to anything, or post new ideas. The problem here is not the domain name, or the hosting provider, since all of that is perfectly fine. The problem right now that we are all facing is a lack of membership and a lack of posters as well as a lack of content. That does not require a transfer of ownership, it requires teamwork, which I have not been opposed too. I have over 8 years of forum ownership, forum moderation, and forum advertising experience, but I've never started a forum from scratch like this, with an inactive community, so it takes much more work to get things off the ground, but having over 100 members, within less than 2 weeks, is a great feat, considering where we came from. If you'd like to work together, you can message me directly, but if you'd like to start up a completely new forum, do it on /biz/, not on an already started forum, since I have no intention of transferring ownership. bizninja ANALYTICS.
