Hello fellow new users, just wondering if anyone here is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate. And if so, any tips on the state exam? I have about one chapter left in the course then hello state exam! Also general real estate discussion thread that doesn't pertain to the other real estate sub-boards.

North Carolina. I think our two states have reciprocal rights between them on the exams. Which specific chapter are you in? Also, good choice on line of work m8

Also, good choice on line of work m8 "Taxes Affecting Real Estate" Thanks m8, following my dad's footsteps. Not sure how long I'm going to do it, since I'm currently in college for Business just didn't want to work a minimum wage job any longer. You do timeshares or houses? I'm most likely going to start on timeshares then transition to houses.

Yeah exactly why am I not too keen on timeshares. My theory is, if I can sell someone that doesn't want a timeshare a timeshare then by damn I should be able to sell a house to someone that wants a house. Which is why I'm starting on timeshares, to better my sales skills on leads I don't have to provide.

Uplade3, do you know if the realtor board checks juvenile records? Just sent my application in. The realtor board is full of power hungry nutsacks. They definitely do. But most of the time they won't give a shit. Go ahead make your social media accounts very private until they approve you and you should be good.

They really check social networks? Yeah unfortunately. The run a pretty good background check too. They're like 4 people who look into that stuff with each person. As long as you're honest, it doesn't matter
