Canada wanted their own section for some reason, I agree though it should be just 1 common forum and that's probably a good idea, I'll try to compartmentalize it better (I'm not the site creator so I have no idea how to actually format it) I'll fix the compartmentalizing, (I know how) I think I cleaned up the boards a little

Color coding certain areas of the forum is fine. This ungodly highlighter color is not. This is an issue with several areas.

I'll fix the compartmentalizing, (I know how) I think I cleaned up the boards a little I just nuked the Canadian section and made it much smaller, since I personally don't think there are that many Canadians on /biz/ and most business stuff is universal anyways. Color coding certain areas of the forum is fine. This ungodly highlighter color is not. This is an issue with several areas. Will be changed tomorrow morning, can't do it on mobile right now and I'm not near a computer.

It's hard to argue Craigs points. Thanks for the input, keep it coming.

I agree with putting the Canadian board at the bottom, or even downright removing it if it doesn't get any traffic.

Also dank memes and shitpost are the same thing, delete one or the other. Introductions doesn't need it's own directory, it should be a sub board of General Discussions (A SUB BOARD NOT ITS OWN BOARD). First thing I noticed when coming here. Why two troll boards?

Instead of a whole section for Canada, how about an 'International' section with forums for different countries?
Don't know if there are any other ausfags here but it would be good to have an area for Au/NZ discussions... ASX, property markets, tax, etc.

We need a set of rules. Not for basic forum crap but things that cover stuff like: - Is embedding links in adfly okay
- Punishment (IP ban) for purposely lying/cheating/scamming fellow users
- Websites its okay to speak of this forum (It really shouldn't be a secret club if we don't want it to die in obscurity)
- Distribution of warez for whatever reasons
- Shitposting outside its containment board
- The discussion of stolen precious information such as SSN or credit cards should be an immediate ban as it jeopardizes the entire forum since this is freely hosted

Rules being drafted as we speak, I will be consulting other admins + mods to create them in the Moderator Section of the forum.

There is no board for the salesmen among us. Maybe they have offers we cannot refuse.

Also, why is the troll board in Entrepreneurship? Is it SRS BSNS meme's only?

Alright, majority of things are in order I think now, staff have been briefed on their powers, content is all we need, and we've got a few members creating content right now, and more coming
Let's spread the word, bizninjas is officially ninjatastic!

I second (third? fourth?) the suggestion for an international board. Being British a lot of the NYSE chat is irrelevant to me, I don't know or care what a Roth IRA 401k is, and likewise if I asked about S+S ISAs in a general shares thread most of you guys would go "Huh?"
Although GENERAL investment advice and principles are fine in a universal thread, surely it's obvious that we need different threads for each stock exchange or economic area.

I can make an international board, but where do I put it, at the top, or at the bottom of the categories? It's hard to determine that, and that board won't get a lot of traffic I could just put it under Investing and put 'International Investing'

Yeah, making a subforum in Investing sounds like the best way to go.
Not a lot of traffic? Perhaps. I think it's important to have that kind of niche though, unless you're happy to have various country-specific threads in the speculation/passive forums. Either way is cool I suppose. *shrug*

Why are some of you (staff mostly) faking/editing your post count? I suggest to stop that tom foolery, c'mon now this forum just started who are y'all really trying to impress? I feel like it makes the overall forum look more childish with all these fake post counts and hardly any posts. On the brighter side of things, forum is looking way better then day 1! +10 on the book background.
